SUMMARY:Puppet Show: A Book for Everyone
DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with our community partners\, we are presentin
g an original puppet show for young children to introduce the topic of "th
e freedom to read."\n\nThe first week of October is the American Library A
ssociation's celebration of the freedom to read\, called Banned Books Week
. This celebration serves as a reminder and a rally call to protect intell
ectual freedom\, which is guaranteed by the 1st Amendment of the United St
ates Constitution.\n\nLibraries strive to offer materials that represent a
variety of interests and viewpoints. Not every book is for everyone\, but
we maintain a collection that offers something for everyone. Removing boo
ks from the library due to their content or author infringes on intellectu
al freedom. So we say\, find the book for you and leave the others for som
 eone else.
